Pieces to Make a Whole

This work can be read as a self-portrait, formed through six ceramic slabs glazed with images that come together as a fragmented narrative. Each tile holds a separate moment, yet all belong to a larger whole, reflecting how identity is built from many overlapping stories rather than a single image.

The reflective glaze introduces a quiet interaction, where the viewer’s reflection becomes part of the composition. In that moment, the work shifts from telling a single story to reflecting many, suggesting that the boundaries between personal and collective experience are never fixed.
